In the End, turns out Okay

Okay, last scrap of Maggy, I promise. I used all weekend to "get to know" her again. Good thing she hasn't changed much. *hearts* I'm not partial to her new outfit anymore. In fact, I like it a lot despite looking like it came from the 80's. That's only one of them though. Maggy sports a lot more.

I've brainstormed both the Prologue and first chapter of Memento, so I'm ready to thumbnail and script. Here's hoping Kasti can finally get somewhere with Maggy's story.

It's new and old at the same time! But I think you'll enjoy it anyway.

After all, Maggys is Love. =)

Dance little Magic, DANCE!

In Memento...there's a lot of dancing...a lot. So I practice Maggy dances.

I'm wondering if I'll post all of her dancing. Anyway these were fun to do. =D

The Comeback Kid

A scrap of Maggy for Memento. Ha, instead of hunting seeds, she hunts Mementos. When I thought about it, Memento and Seed Hunter lined up pretty well. They were almost the same story, so she can transition pretty easily into Memento.

I actually found some old pages of SHM on my family computer and got nostalgic. Not only that, I remember Maggy's story now! So if I wanted to go back to that story, I very well could do it. Now's a matter of if I want to do that or just throw her into a semi-new story. Like I said, those two stories are nearly the same.

But I think I want her in her classic outfit again. Just for old times...

The Sewer that Caused a Problem

Do you remember the underground levels in Super Mario World? Remember how they were so BLUE? Well thanks to that, I couldn't finish this picture. As you can see, on both Mario and Luigi's jumpers, my blue markers started to run out. =/

There was no way I could even finish the walls and water with all my blue missing. Therefore, unfinished picture. Sorry guys. I could have done it in pencils or cg it, but I had no patience and I'm bored with this already. It was just a doodle anyhow.

I still gotta finish other more important things. Wow, August flew by so QUICKLY.

Finally finished inking this. It's...uh...ULTIMA-MICHAEL...? (i'll work out the name later)

Sorry for not updating so much, I've been mucho busy last week and probably will be this week. Things seem to be looking up for me, and I'm feeling pretty good.

I changed things on the journal, see. If you look to the right, you can see that I'm working on an artbook called Memento I. There are stars there to show you the progress of it. I'm hoping I can finish this and get it to print. Not to sell, but just for personal reasons [of accomplishment]. The pic above might be the cover. We shall see.

I gotta run.

A young Prince Michael. Geez, I'm so RUSTY with my markers and pencils. And I killed it with the scanning. =/

Other than that, I was right. This was very therapeutic, it was fun to do and I feel more accomplished with it then if it was digital. I have to think more and be more careful. With digital, I'm more sloppy and careless. It was done in about 4-5 hours.

So I'm off to do more drawings.

This picture is dedicated to a few people: my mentor, my buddy who is the goddess of traditional coloring and another one who believes in me forever.

Lately

WIP- work in Progress. It's called "Weep no More".

Granted, it'll be a pretty piece of work once it's done. However, I'm taking a break from the digital stuff and I'm gonna start using my markers and crayons again. Besides, it's more therapeutic.

Anyway, enough with the sad/weird drawings, right? I need to make some bright and happy (translate: MANIA) pictures again. I'm starting to freak myself out, haha.
