On a sad note

Okay so, there were supposed to be two new pages of Get a Clue here. However there is not and there will be none. I tried to salvage what I could from the pages that have been sitting on my computer for months but even after two hours wasted, it's just gross! I will redraw them, later. Because GaC is not my priority when it comes to a project.

Couple of things here. I used to save these little yearly goals for the end of the year but hey, December is the day after tomorrow, so why not?

  1. I'm leaving this blog behind. Fear not, I will post the new link to my new blog when it's up and ready. I wanted to make a more professional website for myself and wanted to drop the name 'kastiworks' as well. So I won't stop posting stuff, they just won't be here. At the same time, I'll keep this one. Who knows what I might use it for, right?
  2. No more digital works for a while. This is a promise I made to myself since last week. Aside from tweaking pictures and stuff, its strictly pen on paper. Except maybe using for blocking colors for my comic which leads me to the next subject...
  3. I will only...only...ONLY stick with one story for next year. This in itself will be a challenge because most of you know how I am with projects. I'm on it for a little while and then I quit. The most I've ever made progress on a story was Seed Hunter Maggy and I want to do that again (progress, not the story...I don't remember the story anymore haha). I want to make it an all or nothing scenario. If I don't finish then I shouldn't bother with anything else. Now that leaves me with what to work on. =/
I think that's it for now. I'm really just writing this to motivate myself, really. I can already tell that next year is going to be a VERY busy year for me, so I'm not sure how this will affect my drawing. Maybe it'll be for the better. Sometimes busyness creates productivity--it could be the complete opposite. So far I know laziness hasn't gotten me anywhere.

Soon I'll know the reason behind other things that have affected my productivity. And I hoooope so much that it'll make things better. What I need is a fine quality focus. Too bad I can't bottle that up and sprinkle it on me now, haha.

Overall, this has been a very good year for me. Artistically. I have drawn more this year than I have in the past four years. And I love it. I hope to do even more next year too. I hope to have more FUN doing it next year in fact.

So anyway you're up to date. The next post will be a brand spanking new blog, with new pictures and new goals. Just in time for the new year, right? lol
